Hi Tabrej,

for term insurance policies of anmol jeevan and amulya jeevan, I read on the apna insurance site comparison chart that accidental death benefit is not covered.
Does “in the event of death” mean either natural, due to illness or accidental (except suicide)?

another question – do the above policies have no riders i.e disability clauses for which additional premium amount can be paid.

also is a health checkup required to get the policy?

Thank you,
Sanjeev

Dear Sir,

I opened an LIC policy Jeevan Saral through Allahabad Bank for a premium of Rs. 255 by ECS. After few months bank stopped deducting amount towards my policy.
I enquire about this to Bank and Lic both by letter. LIC replied me that Bank told them that, insufficient balance in my account thats why premiums was not paid in my policy.
But thats wrong, i am maintaining sufficient amout in my account.
I paid my due premium to LIC counter for 3 months with a penalty of Rs. 135 extra. From next month onwards bank started deducting amout towards that policy.
Now i want that Rs. 135 back what i have paid without any of my mistake/fault.
How i will get it back?
can/should I go to consumer court against that bank for not respecting my ECS order?
Pls Reply ang guide me.

Regards,

Debraj Choudhary

Tabrej Reply:

Ask for your bank statement from Allahabad bank and analyze if there were sufficient balance in your account. LIC can’t do anything if your bank refuse to pay ECS.

Hi Tabrej,
.
for term insurance policies of anmol jeevan and amulya jeevan, I have confusion about this line “Sum assured will be paid to the beneficiary in the unfortunate event of death of the policy holder”

Does “in the event of death” mean either natural, due to illness or accidental or suicide death?
could u plz elaborate on unfortunate event of death of the policy holder ? which type of death cover by this policy?

I will really appreciate you if you provide the ans ASAP.

Thanx
